London Politica is a blended geopolitical risk advisory and think tank. As a risk advisory, we consult with select clients to address their individual needs and risk profile. In our capacity as a think tank, we provide publicly accessible thought leadership on overlooked and emerging geopolitical issues, enhancing public understanding and awareness and facilitating informed discussions regarding potential mitigations.

Threat Profiling and Mitigation Strategies 

We are honoured to have contributed a political risk threat profile for a national security agency. We provided detailed intelligence on the threat posed by various state and non-state actors to upcoming events being hosted by the government of the state in question. We looked at kinetic, cyber, and other hard and soft threats from both a security and a political perspective, and offered several actionable mitigation strategies. The client incorporated our suggestions in their planning and invited us to undertake several more projects with them on related issues.

Geopolitical and Political Risk Analysis 

We provided research and analytics to a consortium of major international NGOs in setting up a new joint research program with the intent to provide policy suggestions and support to governments around the globe to prepare and plan for future generations. We analysed 100 years’ worth of collated demographic forecast data and combined it with our own political and climate risks forecasts over the same period to identify multifaceted risks over different geographies, their impact, and what might be done to mitigate them.

Due Diligence and Country Risk Reports

We have provided a long-term embedded analytical team for an international development charity to conduct due diligence and country risk reports. We are at the heart of that charity’s operations, providing detailed analytical support and recommendations to mitigate financial, reputational and operational risks. So far, this has facilitated their launch of a dynamic new campaign concentrating on refugee protection and human migration, and their expansion into new areas.
