Manas Chawla

As the Chief Executive Officer, Manas directs London Politica’s long-term strategy, leads client engagements and oversees the research and external relations teams. He has specialist expertise in advising on soft power, corporate diplomacy, and crisis management, and has worked with the United Nations, World Economic Forum, and the Red Cross.
An accomplished public speaker Manas has delivered lectures and keynotes on the geopolitical risk outlook at universities and conferences across Europe, including the most widely-watched TED talk on political risk.
Manas has a background in strategic communications, and has previously worked at Project Associates and Sanctuary Counsel, where he helped provide strategic counsel and reputational advice to governments, corporations, and NGOs. Before founding London Politica, he led The Youth Journal, a youth-led think tank that produced international affairs research for over 60,000 monthly readers.
Manas has authored research reports and built indexes for the G7, G20, as well as the Canadian Center for Responsibility to Protect. He serves as Chairperson of LSE’s Political Risk and Investment Society and trustee of the London Speakers Union. Manas has also served as the Secretary-General of Canada's leading MUN conference, Toronto Model United Nations. He gained an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a Master’s candidate at the University of Oxford.
