Thomas Woodlock
Research Director, Global Commodities Watch, London Politica
Thomas is a co-founder of the Global Commodities Watch research programme. His research helps clients, with exposure to commodity markets, understand risks and formulate strategies to navigate an increasingly volatile geopolitical environment.
He holds an MSc in China Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of Reading. He was also awarded two scholarships to study in China at Peking University and the Nanjing University of Science and Technology whilst at university.
Thomas is also a Market Reporter in the “specialty products” team at Argus Media, an independent provider of price information, consulting services, market data and business intelligence for commodity markets.
As an avid traveller, he enjoys immersing himself in as many new cultures and ideas as possible. His travels have taken him across Europe, the US, Australia, China and the Middle East.
