Luc Parrot

Programme Director, Indo-Pacific, London Politica

Luc is the Programme Director for the Indo-Pacific desk. Currently, he is pursuing an undergraduate BSc International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Luc’s research interests lie geographically in southeast Asia, specifically but not limited to looking at Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean developments. Thematically, Luc tracks the commodities sector and has conducted academic research on government regulation in the critical mineral industry. Being French and having lived in Singapore, Japan, and now the UK, Luc is thoroughly engaged in the multicultural experience.

Before joining London Politica, Luc spent time at an international NGO advocating for the use of nonviolent resistance in promoting human rights and democracy. In 2023, he undertook an internship with a UK-based risk management consultancy doing intelligence work.
