Artificial Intelligence (AI) has continued to be a pioneering force in advancements set to revolutionise fields of study and application. This unprecedented pace of innovation comes amidst escalating global conflict, prompting nations to reimagine AI within a different sphere than previously popularised i.e., defence and security. This reimagining of AI’s application in the battlefield promises to enhance precision, efficiency, and decision-making in warfare, however, it opens debate on several ethical and geopolitical challenges as a result.
