Our Head of Research, Samuel Jardine, and co-author Rachel Williams, Open Lunar Foundation Research Fellow, were published in Slate Magazine today highlighting the operational and geopolitical risks that a lack of transparency measures for the Lunar environment, combined with the increasing tempo of lunar missions from a growing number of actors this decade is developing. They advocate for the creation of a Lunar Activities Registry as low-hanging fruit to aid in stymining these issues, delving into the framework required, opportunities, barriers, and the growing need.
